The Volunteer Services Council (VSC) is a 501(c)(3) supporting residents at the Lubbock State Supported Living Center.

Our Commitment

The Lubbock State Supported Living Center and its 750 employees provide 24-hour support and care. Staff are trained in every aspect of care for our residents. This training provides, programs, education, job training, nutritional planning, medical care, and daily living skills.

This center serves up to 204 residents from 18-85 years of age who have mental and/or physical disabilities. To the residents that live here, this is home. Therefore, the goal of the LbSSLC is to help our residents live as independently as possible. We strive to help them build safe, healthy, and meaningful lives.
